LOS ANGELES – The legal manoeuvring that marked Michael Jackson's extraordinary and troubled life continued yesterday, with his mother losing a bid to control his enormous but tangled estate. In Los Angeles Superior Court, a judge appointed Jackson's long-time lawyer and a family friend as administrators of his estate over the objections of his mother, Katherine. Lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain had been designated in Jackson's 2002 will as the people he wanted to oversee his empire.
MJ's mother will not able to touch his estate. The executor will be the one who will distribute all MJ's estate. If the executor run away, that's it. And executor get a 5% cut from the estate. That's lucrative considering how much MJ is worth (although MJ have a lot of debts, but his asset will able to cover it and more).
That's why a good will is paramount to everyone. Even you have only 1 property, that's good enough for you to write a will. Do contact me for more information about will writing (by Rockwill company).
